The installation consisted of 900 strands of nylon that span across a 307cm gallery space in a 30 x 30 grid. Each strand was painted with varying levels of black acrylic depending on the depth of the image. (a stairwell in Goodge Street Underground station) This process was repeated 30 times to make up one image. Then another 30 images were created to produce a sense of depth within the image. As there was only one focal point for the image to appear, at no other point did the image make sense in the gallery, despite revealing abstract shapes relating to the image. Subsequently the viewers moved around the space in many unusual paths.
