I used Sellotape to stipple the surface of black videotape. Although being very fragile, a layer of the black magnetic carbon was removed very carefully depending on the pressure and shape of the Sellotape. It created a surprisingly painterly effect whilst allowing the image of a disused cotton factory to appear.
